Coda_daemon runs only as long as I am connected with my server via SSH

When I run coda_daemon it runs only as long as I am connected with my server via SSH. When I close the terminal it stops running. It is not the case with respect to other daemons (e.g. transmission-daemon) which I start via systemctl start command. When I run

systemctl|grep coda

I get nothing. As you can see on the screenshot my processes related to coda are run by the user root, which is not the case with with my transmission-daemon. When I close terminal all the processes related to coda stop, whereas my transmission_daemon still runs. If you faced the same issue, how have you solved it?

P.S. Apologies for being such a newbie question.

Hey mate,

I advise you to use screen for the coda daemon. I use it as well and it works just perfect.

Here this might help.

Lukas

Hi Lukas,
Thank you for your reply. I already implemented tmux, following a suggestion of someone from Discord. It seems that it does the job well. Nevertheless, I will have screen in mind.
